Support Trudy Fields Medical and Living Expenses

Hello Friends and Family of Trudy Fields,

My name is Mary Ann and I am setting up this fundraiser to help Trudy with medical and living expenses. Approximately one month ago, Trudy and Sabrina were on vacation at Disney World with their nieces when Trudy became very ill. She was diagnosed with a serious case of shingles that struck her in the head, face and eyes and progressed to meningitis. She was hospitalized in Florida for a week before being released to travel back home. She is experiencing ongoing issues due to this illness that has affected her eyes and causing severe headaches. She has not been able to work for four weeks, and the doctors do not know when she will be cleared to return to work. Diagnostic testing is still being done to find out exactly what is going on.

Although Trudy does have health insurance, she has a very high deductible and maximum out of pocket limit. The medical bills continue to add up, and since she is not able to work, the burden of living expenses is mounting.

When our friends go through such hard times, we often wonder what we can do that will really help support them. I know Trudy would appreciate all the thoughts and prayers for her complete recovery. All she wants right now is to get better and return to work. Until then, any financial assistance you may feel led to contribute would be greatly appreciated and help relieve the burden of expenses. No amount is too small.
