On April 20th, we lost a friend, a brother, and a son. Senseless gun violence robbed the world of a bright soul who lived to selflessly help others no matter the cost. Tsvetomir "Tsuky" Neshkov touched many lives with his generosity, unconditional love, and sense of duty and compassion. A protector at heart, he would give his last change out of his pocket to help a friend in need and when often asked why all he would say was "if not me, then who?"
On the fatal evening of 4/19/2017 Tsuky invited someone whom he thought of as a friend, only to find himself in the path of two fatal bullets, one to his heart and another one to his lungs. The two guests came to Tsuky's home with an evil plan and on their way out they shot and killed him. With his last few breaths of air, Tsuky ran to save his brother's life by pushing him out of the way and standing at the front door as his lungs filled up with blood.
Tsuky was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, TX and then to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX where he died during surgery at the age of 27. In the early hours of 4/20/2017 I lost my best friend who was truly like a brother to me and to so many of us who knew him.
I hope my message will reach as many people as possible and touch many hearts the same way Tsuky touched all of ours. I am raising funds to help his grieving family ease their financial burden during these very difficult times. Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated.
