I visited my mom at her home on her birthday, which turned out to be one of the scariest days of my life. I took her to the hospital, and she had to have an amputation on her leg. This was a hard decision, but to save her life, I needed her here. Only I know what I would do without her.

It’s been very hard these last 3 months. It’s been almost 2 months since my mom has been home. I can see that this change in her life is taking a toll on her, and the only thing that puts a smile on her face is her grandkids. It has been rough taking her to all her appointments and me taking off work just to take care of her. I try my best to take her outside, but she can’t move around on her own.

My story can only be written, but I wish it could be seen. I know God is good. Thank you.
