Hello! I’m Arthur Lewis Jr., founder of Team of We Happyville (TWH).

Our mission is to empower individuals to live healthier lives and achieve optimal wellness. We envision a holistic lifestyle for at-risk families in urban communities through access to personal trainers, nutrition seminars, healthy eating practices, and life skills activities.

Every December since 2014, we partner with GELP to host 8 Days of Giving, a community program designed to enhance lives and build connections in East Baltimore. Made possible by dedicated volunteers and generous donations, this program includes fitness and nutrition workshops, self-care sessions, mental health awareness activities, STEM education, art showcases, family game nights, toy drives, gift exchanges, and culminates in an exclusive Gaylord Resorts ICE experience, creating unforgettable memories for families of all ages. We're excited to announce that we'll also be bringing this special event to one lucky Baltimore City Public School this year!

We’re asking our community to help us raise $43,500 to provide 50 kids, their families, and one Baltimore City Public School with this incredible experience. Many of our participants come from low-income areas in Baltimore City, and your support can provide them with positive pathways and enriching opportunities. By contributing, you’ll join reputable partners like DTLR and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in making a meaningful impact.

Your donation will help us:

Secure a venue for community programming and entertainment
Provide food and beverages throughout the event
Purchase party supplies, merchandise, and cleaning essentials
Rent tables and chairs for comfortable seating
Arrange transportation for families in need
Cover costs for a trip to National Harbor, MD, including a coach bus
Purchase tickets for the Gaylord ICE! attraction for kids and their families
Reserve accommodations at Gaylord National Resort for a one-night stay
