We’re raising funds for our cousin Tyler and her children, Tyliah and Taylor, who are facing unimaginable challenges after the tragic loss of their beloved partner and father, Dre.

On July 21, 2024, Dre was murdered in a senseless act of violence while trying to protect his family during an armed robbery outside their home. This horrific event was witnessed by his partner, Tyler, and their children and has left the family not only devastated, but also struggling with the sudden shift from a two-income household to a single income.

Dre was a beloved member of the community, known for his kindness, infectious smile, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was a devoted employee of UPS, working tirelessly and just shy of reaching the five-year mark that would have guaranteed him a pension. He was not a street type of guy at all, but a hardworking and honest individual who cared deeply about providing a safe and nurturing environment for his family. His absence has created a void that words can hardly fill. As Tyler and the children navigate this difficult time, they face the daunting task of adjusting to life without Dre’s support, both emotionally and financially.

We aim to raise $20,000 to support Tyler and the kids during this challenging period. The funds will be used for:

Living Expenses: To help cover the cost of daily living and ensure that Tyler and the children have stability during this time of transition.

College Fund for Taylor: To provide some financial security for Taylor’s education, honoring Dre’s wish to see his children succeed and thrive.
