Welcome! Thank you for visiting this link in hopes that we will be able to share with you the celebration of the life of Tyree Straughter. On May 12, 2024, the beloved father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend unexpectedly passed, joining his beloved wife in heaven. Mother's Day is a day that is supposed to be filled with love and happiness, but unfortunately, this year it was shadowed by the mourning of losing our loved one. Tyree was an amazing person and played a very special role in everyone's life that he knew. You could always count on him being in a good mood when he was around, and he seemed to always be the first point of contact for those in need. Tyree could often be found outside playing with his younger kids, nephews, cousins, and any other kiddo that was there to play. Spending quality time with his family was the most important thing for him. The only thing that could be perceived as old with Tyree, was just the number of his age. A young soul to the very end. "Uncle P" was the highlight of the gathering. A selfless soul gone way too soon. His younger children will not be graced with his physical presence on any life achievements like graduating High School, going to Prom, getting their first car, or their Wedding day. All of these are examples of achievements that are meant to be shared with your parents.

Unfortunately, these are things that his children will not be able to experience from him as he is no longer with us on earth. The emotional weight of losing a parent and a child is unbearable, and the financial weight is just as burdening. Please help us in raising money to give Tyree the homegoing that he deserves. Help us give him the funeral that we know he would try to give anyone else if he was in this position. If you knew him, you would know that he would do anything to help anyone in need. Anything that you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated, and we always welcome sharing our story as well. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and situation, and we pray that you stay blessed. Hold your loved ones close, you never know when it will be the last day you get the chance to.
