"HELP WANTED"
My name is Tara Postovit, and I am an owner at M&C Tire located in Kalispell, MT. We recently encountered a job seeker, Tyrell, who happened to be "traveling through on his way home to Idaho" when his wife, Mckenzie, went into labor and subsequently required an emergency C-section at Logan Health. They welcomed baby boy, Waylon Ray Cres, but he was born very prematurely. Tyrell realized that he and his wife were going to need to remain in Kalispell for an extended time (about three months). He saw our help wanted signs and applied for a job. He needed a way to keep providing for his family; we were hiring seasonal help and we are close to the hospital.

A Father's Love
It was evident shortly after hiring Tyrell that his work ethic is strong and his dedication to his new young family is unwavering. Every day I witness him showing up early, staying late, performing at a high level, racing to the hospital on his breaks, and maintaining a marvelous attitude through it all.
Unfortunately, the hospital bills are accruing at a rate that is almost impossible to keep up with for a young family just starting out. They are uninsured. Their resident status is further limiting the ability for them to be eligible for financial assistance from Medicaid.

Waylon's Struggles
Waylon was born via emergency c-section on October 7, 2024, weighing 2 pounds 2 oz, and measuring 13.5 inches long.
Waylon's little lungs were described as "cement" to his young parents. His first 72 hours of life were very scary.
The medical team later discovered that Mckenzie and baby had Listeriosis Meningitis, an infection carried by the mother that can result in pregnancy complications, premature births, and developmental risks for the baby. Mckenzie had no symptoms of illness prior to birthing her baby. Waylon was intubated and on a ventilator for the first month of his life.

Waylon continues his recovery at the level III NICU at Logan Health Children's and is steadily making progress. Every day he is breathing better on his own, getting stonger, and his growth rate is improving. Today (Nov 14) he weighs 3 pounds 13 oz, and is almost 16 inches long. He recently had his first bath. Waylon's doctor grows more optimistic with time and has indicated that if the baby's rate of improvement remains the same, he may be able to go home to Idaho by Christmas. Waylon's Idaho family will be offering help and support once the three of them return home.

Brave. Young. Strong.
Waylon has proven to be a very strong little boy and his young parents' devotion is unwavering. The financial burden coupled with the mental/emotional stress has taken a huge toll on this young family. Please consider donating to their fight. All funds will be used to pay Waylon's significant medical expenses. Help them get over this hurdle so they can move toward a better future. A future with fewer financial burdens.
