Support Families After 152 9th St. Fire in Oakland Chinatown

A devastating fire recently swept through an apartment building at 152 9th St. in Oakland Chinatown, displacing dozens of low-income families and Chinese-speaking immigrants from their homes. The building has been red-tagged, leaving these residents in urgent need of temporary shelter.

We are Tzu Chi, a nonprofit organization, and we are raising funds to help the victims affected by this tragic event. Tzu Chi has taken the initiative to step in and help with the cause, providing immediate relief and support to those affected. Collaborating with other organizations, efforts are focused on delivering essential resources like temporary housing, food, and basic necessities to these families during this challenging time.
