With the sudden and unexpected loss of Ugo Okpara (27JUN1981 - 24JUL2024) this has left his family with numerous financial burdens. In addition to the cost of the funeral, there are many other expenses that need to be taken care of, including his children and their educational futures. If you are able to help out in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.
Ugo was a man whose kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He was not just a great husband, father, son, and brother; he was a friend to all, always ready with a warm smile and a helping hand.
He has left behind his wife Vwaire of almost 14 years, daughters Kammy (11), Kosi (7) and son Kobi (3) who will continue to need emotional and financial support with the tragic loss of Ugo.
As a husband, Ugo was devoted and loving, his wife and soul mate with unwavering support and affection. To know Ugo was to know Vwaire and his children, because his pride and fondness was very evident – he always found a way to connect almost any conversation to them, always mentioning them.
His role as a father was one of his greatest joys. He nurtured daughters Kammy (11), Kosi (7) and son Kobi (3) with wisdom and care, instilling in them the values of kindness, perseverance and the fear of God.
As a son and brother, Ugo was a pillar of strength and love, always there to share in laughter and lend an ear when needed.
Beyond his roles within his family, Ugo had a passion for sports that was contagious. He could often be found cheering on his favorite teams, with a special place in his heart for Tom Brady. His enthusiasm for the game was matched only by his loyalty, as he proudly supported Brady through every triumph and challenge, regardless of the jersey that Brady wore. He also loved balloons and ensured that anyone celebrating any type of event, received them.
Ugo’s legacy is one of love and generosity. He never hesitated to go out of his way to help others, and his thoughtfulness made every moment spent with him special. Whether it was a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or simply his friendly presence, Ugo made everyone feel valued and appreciated. Even his encounters with strangers were always remarkable, as he had a unique ability to start an interesting conversation with anyone about anything.
As we remember Ugo, we will hold on to the memories of his laughter, his passion, and his boundless love. He taught us all the importance of kindness, the joy of a shared passion, and the strength of family. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit and the love he shared will live on in our hearts forever.
