Support Uji Time during shelter-in-place!
Uji Time Dessert was a pop up Asian fusion soft serve ice cream store in 2016. Because of your support, we have been expanding to 6 stores in the Bay Area and making more customers smile with our Taiyaki Ice Cream made of local milk and fresh ingredients. We have been working hard to improve the workflow, food quality, and staff training.
Due to COVID-19, we have to reduce open hours or close some of the stores temporarily. But, we are not taking a break. We take this as a challenge developing a new line of hard ice cream for customers to enjoy it at home. Our signature ice cream flavors are Matcha, Black Sesame and Tofu. We will use this money to
1) Pay our staff when they shelter-in-place. We will look for volunteer programs and encourage staff to volunteer in a safe environment
2) Develop new products for customers to enjoy at home
3) Donate $1500 worth of ice cream (or 20% of the fund) to healthcare organizations to show our appreciation for their hard work
4) Pay rent and utilities
