Support UK's Freelance Route Setters and Coaches
Donation protected
Climbing walls nationwide are closing their doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With no choice for walls, but to cancel all sessions and future route setting, freelance coaches and route setters are facing total cancellation of all work in the near future. With next to no governmental provisions in place to protect freelance workers, this is likely to be a hard time for those that rely on the climbing industry for their livelihood.
This campaign is designed to help the people that work hard to provide us with the climbing services we all cherish and use on a regular basis and are receiving no support from elsewhere.
Any funds raised from this campaign will go directly to freelancers from the climbing industry. These recipients will be decided through an application process to ensure the right people are getting the help to stay afloat.
As Impact, we also want to do what we can to help all those in need. For this reason, we will be running a FREE IMPACT ROUTE SETTING COURSE for 10 people once climbing centres are up and running. These people will be randomly selected from everyone that donated, no matter how big or small your donation.
The reaction up until from the climbing communities all across the country has been overwhelming and is truly heartwarming in such a dark time. Anything that you can afford to donate will go a long way towards supporting many of the people that commit so much to keeping our industry growing and fun for everyone!
