Uplifting Ukrainian Veterans via Sports and Outreach Events
Donation protected
NGO Promote Ukraine is raising funds to bring Ukrainian veterans to Brussels for an important visit at the end of November to early December 2024. These brave veterans will participate in a special competition between Ukrainian veterans and NATO soldiers, while also engaging with EU and NATO officials to advocate for improved support systems. This trip will not only foster international camaraderie but also provide a platform for these heroes to raise awareness about the critical challenges they face in their recovery and reintegration.
Why We Need Your Help
With the ongoing Russian aggression, the number of Ukrainian veterans continues to grow, and many face severe injuries - loss of limbs, sight, or mobility - and often lack access to essential medical care and psychological rehabilitation. This urgent need for support is compounded by significant psychological challenges such as PTSD, social reintegration issues, and rising suicide rates.
What Your Donation Will Achieve:
- Raise International Awareness: By engaging with EU and NATO institutions and media outlets, we aim to highlight the critical needs of Ukrainian veterans on an international platform.
- Support Veteran Rehabilitation: We advocate for improved access to state-of-the-art prosthetics, physical and psychological rehabilitation, and tailored recovery programs.
- Promote Social and Economic Reintegration: By fostering connections and facilitating international collaboration, we help veterans rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities.
How You Can Make a Difference
We are seeking your support to make this next visit a reality. Your donation will cover the veterans' travel, accommodation, participation in events, and the organization of advocacy meetings. Help us bring these brave Ukrainian veterans to Brussels, where they can share their stories, inspire change, and advocate for a brighter future.
Success Stories
Your contributions have the power to create lasting change in the lives of Ukrainian veterans. For example, Ukrainian veteran Yurii Kozlovskyi has become a leader of the Games of Heroes project. Artem Rakitin took his experience further by founding an association and facility that provides essential support to disabled veterans. Meanwhile, Roman Kashpur has shared his powerful story as the protagonist in a film that highlights the resilience of Ukrainian veterans, inspiring countless others with his courage and determination.
Make an Impact Today
By donating, you’re not just helping veterans travel to Brussels—you’re giving them the opportunity to rebuild their lives, fight for better care, and share their powerful stories with the world. Every contribution, big or small, will directly impact these heroes who have sacrificed so much for their country and its freedom.
Donate now to give Ukrainian veterans the hope, rehabilitation, and support they deserve!
