RE-OPENING JUNE 26TH! LEARN MORE AND RSVP HERE.
Paul Robeson Exhibit: His Movies – His Music – His Message
Experience the virtuosity of Paul Robeson in an exciting new exhibit
that transports you to the artistic world that he once “owned.” In a
Hollywood-style setting, witness his performances in “Othello” in London
and New York. Watch him transform himself into characters in “Emperor
Jones” and “Show Boat,” where he made “Ol’ Man River” a star. Listen to
him sing across the Atlantic and the Canadian border in defiance of
government restrictions aimed at silencing him. He was a man bent on
freedom.
WE ARE RE-OPENING TO THE PUBLIC really soon and with a $10K goal of support, we will continue to push through on ongoing infrastructure repairs/renovation and ensure we have proper cleaning services available to maintain a hygienic space for our visitors.
**Thanks to everyone who has donated so far through Eventbrite. Those funds will be counted alongside this GoFundMe to show when we have achieved our goal!**
