Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a challenging situation our family is facing. On Monday morning, February 5th, my dad, David Quinones, suffered a brain aneurysm and is currently in critical condition in the ICU. He had two procedures on Monday evening – they relieved the pressure on his brain, and then they went in and located the aneurysm, successfully clipping it. He is progressing as well as he can, currently still intubated and on a ventilator. The medical team anticipates he will be in the ICU department for up to 3 or 4 weeks. Adding to this difficulty, he is the sole owner of his business, which means the impact on our family is even more profound. My mom is taking on the role of caring for him. We are navigating this unexpected financial burden. In times like these, we find strength in the belief that every day is a blessing. UPDATE 2/7: He was taken off the ventilator this morning and is now breathing on his own.
