Support Valerie After Dennis French's Tragic Loss

This was the only family picture we have of us together. Our family recently moved to Florida to be closer to our mother and brother. With deep sadness, I have to say that my brother, Dennis French, died tragically and unexpectedly. This has left a massive hole in our family. As we await the findings on what caused his death, his wife, Valerie, is left to pick up the pieces of her life without him as we all mourn this loss together.

Dennis and Val dated in high school, and after years apart, they rekindled their relationship 10 years ago. They met again after months of talking online and never separated again.

Dennis was an incredible person. Anyone who knew him would tell you he was funny, charismatic, compassionate, loyal, hardworking, and loved his family above all else. He wasn’t perfect—none of us are—but he did his best to love those around him with his whole heart.

His life wasn’t easy, and he struggled in every way imaginable. When he rekindled his love and life with Valerie, he finally felt like he had his person who he would spend the rest of his life with. He was Valerie’s first love and her last.

As she tries to pick up the pieces of her life, she now has unexpected expenses for the funeral, missing massive amounts of work as she endures her grief and loss for the love of her life, and planning for the future without her husband by her side.

I have never done a GoFundMe before. However, I would like to ask that if you feel led to contribute to funeral expenses, loss of wages, and future living expenses for Valerie, we would all be eternally grateful. I would like to at least offer Val some financial assistance so that she knows she has her expenses covered as she navigates her future without her soulmate by her side.
