Life can change in an instant, and that’s precisely what happened to my friend Valerie Garcia and her family. They lost their home and cherished pets to a devastating fire, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. I can’t even begin to imagine the heartache they’re experiencing, but what I do know is that they need our community's support now more than ever.
