Support Val's Continuing Recovery from Hurricane Helene

Our dear friend Val needs our help!

Val Stunja lost everything in Hurricane Helene. Her Florida costal home was destroyed and now she has survived a second hurricane, Milton, thanks to friends who live outside the immediate impact area.

Val has been working with her insurers and federal agencies to get as much aid as possible, but she also needs our help. I met Val as we raised money for United Way at US Airways. Now we can return her generosity.

For most of us, including me in Arizona, the idea of losing everything in a hurricane is a bad nightmare. So, as the people of central Florida start to recover and rebuild, let’s remember to extend a hand to those we can.

We have adjusted the fundraising goal to $15,000 having already beaten our initial goal of $10,000. You are all amazing! Val will use these funds to restore her housing and cover expenses to recover and rebuild her life.
