Support Vansh Patel's Road to Recovery

My younger brother, Vansh Patel, was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident on the night of his high school graduation. He was ejected from the vehicle and has suffered multiple traumatic injuries. He was promptly airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA on Monday, May 20th, and he has been in the ICU since then. He has already undergone several surgeries and will be needing more. Moreover, some of Vansh's injuries will require extensive rehabilitation indefinitely and ongoing physical therapy.

The outpour of love and support shown for Vansh has been incredibly heartwarming, and we have been asked by many people how they can help. In addition to keeping Vansh and our family in your prayers, we are setting up this GoFundMe to help pay for Vansh’s hospital bills and the ongoing treatments he will require after he is discharged.

By his loved ones, Vansh is described as outgoing, motivated, hardworking, confident, bright, and determined. Vansh is a wonderful brother to me and a caring son to our parents, Piyush and Alka. Sharing a childhood with Vansh was a privilege; he was always (and still is) known as the "entertainer" of the family, and he shares a special bond with each and every one of us. Moreover, Vansh has been described as a compassionate, encouraging, empathetic friend, who is always looking for ways to uplift and positively impact others. During his time at Deerfield-Windsor School, he was very involved with athletics and extracurriculars. Upon his recovery, he plans to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology with the hopes of eventually pursuing a career in the dental or medical field. In his personal life, Vansh really enjoys learning about cars, clay target shooting, weightlifting, listening to music, playing sports, and spending time with his close friends and family.
