Help Us Honor the Legacy of Venices Alvin Hawkins Support Our Family During This Difficult Time It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved one. Venices was a kind, free-hearted man whose generosity and love touched the lives of everyone who knew him. As we mourn his loss, we are also faced with the unexpected financial burden left on our family. We are reaching out for your support to help us navigate this challenging time.

Venices was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by service, dedication, and a deep love for his family and community. Born and raised in Jasper, Florida, he attended Hamilton County High School, where he excelled in academics and athletics. Venices’s commitment to service began early when he joined the National Guard in the 11th grade. Following high school, Venices attended Florida A&M University from 1985 to 1987 on athletic and academic scholarship where he pledged Omega Psi Phi before enlisting in the Army. He served our country honorably during the Gulf War in Saudi Arabia, achieving the rank of E5. Venices’s military service was a testament to his courage and dedication, traits he carried with him throughout his life.

A Life of Love and Athleticism
Venices was not only a soldier but also an extraordinary athlete. He had a passion for basketball, weightlifting, football, and track, and his competitive spirit was matched only by his kindness and generosity. Venices's love for sports was a reflection of his energetic and vibrant personality. He was one of the nine people from his hometown to ever go D1 in sports.

A Family Man
His sudden passing on June 13, 2024, in Texas has left a void that can never be filled. As we grieve this profound loss, we also face the daunting task of handling the financial responsibilities that come with it.

How You Can Help
Venices dedicated his life to helping others, and now it's our turn to give back. We are asking for your support to help cover funeral expenses, transportation of his body from Texas to Florida ,outstanding debts, and to provide financial stability for our family during this difficult time.

Your generous donations will allow us to focus on healing and remembering the incredible man Venices was without the added stress of financial hardship. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help. Together, we can honor Venices's legacy and support our family in this time of need. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
