Familia noastră este profund recunoscătoare pentru fiecare donație. Chiar din prima zi de campanie am primit sute de mesaje de încurajare din toate colțurile lumii. Am fost extrem de emoționată de susținerea și generozitatea voastră. Fiecare cuvânt bun și inimioară s-a întipărit adânc în sufletul meu.

Whenever I saw some fundraising campaigns on Facebook for people who need help, it never occurred to me that I would end up in this role too.

Following some medical investigations, a brain tumor was detected, more an Intraxial infiltrative- expansive lesion tumor-like with solid component developed in the cortex of the middle temporal gyrus on the right. It seems awful at first glance, but the good news is that this tumor is operable and I must "get rid of it" as soon as possible.

I studied a lot about the existing options and decided to have the intervention at a clinic in Germany, where I will be able to benefit from the most advanced technologies and methods, which guarantee a higher success rate with minimal risks. However, this choice also has an expensive bill attached. The estimated cost of intervention and hospitalization at the Charite University Hospital in Berlin is at least EUR 28,400, plus pre- and post-operative investigations, travel and subsistence expenses in Berlin (approximately 1 month). We must collect this amount by May 10, 2021.

I am asking for your help, dear friends, colleagues, and business partners. If you have the possibility to donate as much as your heart holds, to lessen the financial burden we have now.

Ajut-o pe Veronica Tomescu să scape de tumoarea cerebrală

Ori de cate ori vedeam pe Facebook careva campanii de fundraising pentru oamenii care au nevoie de ajutor, nu mi-a trecut niciodată prin gând că voi ajunge să fiu și eu în acest rol.

În urma unor investigații medicale, mi-a fost depistată o tumoare pe creier, mai exact o formațiune infiltrativ-expansivă tumefactivă intraxială cu component solid dezvoltată în cortexul girusului temporal mediu pe dreapta. Pare groaznic la prima vedere, dar vestea bună e că această tumoare este operabilă și trebuie să mă “despart” de ea cât mai curând. Am studiat mult despre opțiunile existente și am decis să fac intervenția la o clinică din Germania, unde voi putea beneficia de cele mai avansate tehnologii și metode, care garantează o rată de succes mai mare cu riscuri minime. Dar, această alegere, are atașată și o factură destul de mare. Costul estimativ al intervenției și al internării în Spitalul Universitar Charite din Berlin este de minim 28.400 EUR, la care se mai adaugă investigațiile pre și post operatorii, cheltuielile de deplasare și de ședere în Berlin (aprox 1 lună). Trebuie să adunăm această sumă până pe data de 10 mai 2021.

Mă adresez pentru ajutor vouă, dragi prieteni, colegi și parteneri de afaceri. Dacă aveți posibilitate să donați atât cât vă ține inima, pentru a diminua din povara financiară pe care o avem acum.
