Support Vet Care For This Injured, Rescue K9

Hi,

If anyone knows my wife, Misty, they know how big of an animal lover she truly is. She ran across this post on Nextdoor this morning that was absolutely sickening.

A member on Nextdoor posted about a dog who had recently gotten hit by a car and has at least one broken leg. The owners just wrapped the front legs up and did nothing else. Misty has gotten the animal and is taking it to our local vet (Animal Ark, Clemmons) to get it taken care of.

Any help with these vet bills and rehabilitation will be greatly appreciated!

Update: Ulna is shattered and radius is fractured. The road rash is infected. She is covered in fleas. Animal Ark has been wonderful and treated all of the issues above. She will need weekly checks to change out her splinted right front leg. We are hopeful this will be all that her leg needs for now.

We currently have more than enough donations to cover the initial vet bill and likely the next three! We have put a hold on accepting donations at this time as we want everyone's hard earned money to be utilized the way it is intended, for this sweet girls medical care! We want to thank everyone for the out pouring of love for this puppies rescue and care. We are calling her Cami and she is the sweetest baby!
