Support Vet Care for Three Sweet Abandoned Cats

A little under a year ago, we had a young couple move in next door. Within a few weeks, they brought home 2 kittens. About a month later, they got another.

This young couple ended up squatting next door for several months. We live in a duplex, so any time we leave for work the three cats come running to us on the porch. We have spent this entire span of time making sure these cats have food and water, and even made sure they had an insulated shelter to sleep in as they were left outside even on the coldest nights this winter.

The couple finally left, and left the apartment in absolute squalor. They also left their three young cats. We have become attached to them, having spent so much time on our front porch with them over the past months.

We love these cats and want to make sure they get proper vet care. I am fairly sure at least one of them is pregnant, and would also bet they are not up to date on vaccinations. I would love to bring them in and make sure they are healthy, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered. All of them are quite small, and I am particularly concerned with the one that appears to be pregnant. These cats are all under a year old, and they are the sweetest little babies.

We have our own cats and dogs, and cannot bring three new cats into our home or afford the care outlined above for these three. I want to get them taken care of, and then potentially find a home where all three of them will be loved and cared for. They really are sweet babies, and they do not deserve the life they’re been dealt so far.
