Support Vicky in Honoring Her Mom's Wish

My name is Miks and my best friend Vicky recently lost her mother (Jui-Chi) to suicide on August 9, 2024. Vicky's mom always wanted to go back home to Taiwan and prior to her passing, the last time she was back home was 27 years ago. Please help me raise funds to help Vicky bring her mom back home to her family. Vicky's grandma, aunts, and uncles spent countless nights planning how she can bring her mom back home and to organize her funeral.

Additionally, Vicky's step dad struggles with daily tasks due to multiple health conditions and is struggling to survive without his wife. He has been in the hospital since August 12, 2024. (Today is August 18, 2024). As two working girls Vicky and I are unable to care for him in our apartment since we work long hours every day. His own family is unable to care for him either in their own home. The only suitable option we have been given is a nursing home that can provide him with the daily activities and care he deserves.

This time has been difficult for Vicky, and as her best friend I am trying to do my part to help her through it emotionally, spiritually, and financially. With your help, I believe we can alleviate some of the pain, stress, and struggles she has undergone the past couple of days and for the next couple of months.
