Support Vicky's Journey to Recovery and Hope

My name is Stephanie Butcher. Recently my mom Vicky Burton was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since she's had 3 surgery's and many days of missed work. She is a hair dresser at Mood Studios in Murfreesboro, TN. Vicky is a single mother of a 14 year old girl Jaden.

Everything happened rapidly after finding a lump in her breast. It has been a whirlwind of tests, appointments, and surgeries ever since. She had a lumpectomy as the first surgery. During this time her breast swelled up. The doctor had to perform a 2nd surgery to remove a hematoma. Which caused her to yet again miss work. She missed approximately a month of work putting her bills behind.

After that month she was able to return to work only to be called and told she has the brca 2 gene and would need a double mastectomy.

Vicky had the double mastectomy on 9-18-2024. She's currently been out if work for almost 3 weeks. She can't return to work for at least 6 more weeks, possibly longer. She has spacers inside her breast to stretch the skin. She can't return to work until they are removed.

Once again she will have yet another surgery to remove them and be out of work for another 6 weeks, at minimum.

Seeing as she is a single mother and her job is her only source of income, she is at risk of losing her home and shop space.

We understand times are hard for everyone right now but we're asking for any help in this unexpected time. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
