Support Victoria Feliciano in Her Fight Against Polymyositis

Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart, asking for your support during this incredibly challenging time for my niece Victoria Feliciano and our family. Victoria is not only a loving daughter, sister, and friend, but she is also a proud veteran who has bravely served her country. Now, she faces a new battle—one of health, strength, and survival—as she fights a rare disease called Polymyositis.

As a veteran, Victoria has always demonstrated immense courage and resilience, but this fight has taken a severe toll on her physically, emotionally, and financially. Victoria has been courageously battling a rare and debilitating disease called Polymyositis, specifically the Anti-Synthetase Syndrome subclass. This autoimmune disorder affects her muscles and lungs, causing extreme muscle weakness, chronic pain, and difficulty breathing. Since June, Victoria has been in and out of the hospital, enduring a long and challenging journey to manage her symptoms. Despite her strength and resilience, she faces many medical challenges that have made everyday life an overwhelming struggle.

Victoria requires extensive medical supplies, including a portable oxygen machine, an air purifier with filters, a nebulizer, and various medications and steroids. In addition, she must regularly visit multiple doctors and specialists to monitor her condition. On top of the day-to-day treatments, there are also mounting past and future hospital bills, all of which have placed an enormous financial burden on her and her family. The journey ahead is known to get worse before better, but Victoria and her family remain positive.

As Victoria bravely fights this disease, her family is doing everything they can to help, but the growing costs are becoming too much for them to bear alone.
