Support Victoria's Boys After Tragic Loss

Donation protected

Victoria was an extremely proud mom of her two boys. She loved her boys with all her heart and soul, and they were the center of her world. She was also a dear and loving friend to many people.

She always had a bubbly attitude and had far too much trust in people. She loved socializing and meeting new people. She loved life so much that even when things were not on her side, she still tried to be positive. She looked forward to her time with her boys, and when she was off duty as a parent, she spent time with her friends.

On August 12th, she trusted the wrong person. She met a man after hearing he was from her hometown. He took advantage of her interest and manipulated her into trusting him, using their hometown connection as a way to do so. As the night was ending, she grew to trust this man who offered to drive her home and she accepted.

Victoria always saw the good in everyone, and being from the same hometown, that was enough for her to trust him and the situation. She didn't know he just got out on bail on 8/3/24 after being charged on 8/1/24 for a violent crime of domestic violence/strangulation. He also has a previous record where he was convicted of domestic assault on 8/15/2016. He was not required to be on any monitoring program during the time he was out even with Felony level charge of a violent crime as well as a past of violent crime.
According to the court records from his 8/1/24 charge he held a woman against her will, took her phone so she couldn't call police, strangled her, smashed her against a wall, put his hand over her mouth so she couldn't' breathe, all while a child was present in the home. According to the court records she stated she feared for her life.

This man took his violence to the next level when he strangled Victoria to death on 8/12/24 after dropping her off at home. He left her lifeless body, stole her car along with other items, and fled the state. All within the hour of arriving home and just the day before her 39th birthday, leaving two young boys behind and the fathers, Al and Nate to pick up the pieces. This turned their world turned upside down. He was arrested in Louisiana on 8/18 and is facing 2nd-degree murder charges as of 11/7/24. Had he been kept in jail, had a higher bond with more strict monitoring, or even been put on house arrest given the seriousness of his crime, this could have been prevented. He said he didn't even remember her name. His crime has left two young boys without their mother and financially strained the fathers who have taken on two roles. They are too young to understand the situation and why their mom was abruptly taken. I am asking for help to raise money for these boys to help them by helping the fathers, Al and Nate, with the cost of being a single parent. Al and Nate continue to keep the boys connected and with all the donations they will continue to plan special outings together in memory of their mother.
Our justice system failed Victoria, and because of that, she lost her life brutally. Victoria's boys are who will forever be hurt by this preventable crime. Please donate to help Al and Nate support these boys and the memory of their mother, Victoria. Thank you for your support.
