Support Victoria's Heart Health Journey

Our family has had some bumps in the road since this past summer. Our youngest daughter (age 8) started experiencing her heart racing which produced lightheadedness, chest pain, and shortness of breath. She has had several episodes since then and is currently wearing a heart monitor hoping to record an episode which will be read by her doctor. We have also purchased a monitor for home to help record episodes as well. She will require a heart procedure if the episodes stay consistent. These issues have required us to make several trips to Salt Lake at the University Hospital, because our local medical facility does not have the necessary specialists. Now we are facing more trips which generally require an overnight stay, although we do receive a discounted price through the university hospital. The expenses for gas, hotel, food, copays, etc. have impacted on our financial situation. Each trip causes a day or two of lost wages plus expenses. We are trimming our budget as best we can, but we are at our wits end and need help.
