Support Viktor: Overcoming EB Together
Donation protected
Viktor Putica is a baby born with a rare genetic condition: epidermolysis bullosa, also known as the "butterfly child" disease. His skin is sensitive to the slightest touch, and it is covered and affected by blisters, leaving behind scars and open wounds. Bullosa epidermolysis is a severe and rare genetic disease caused by the complete inability to produce collagen. The condition is terminal, and so far, those affected have lived up to 30 years at most.
The first-ever therapy was approved in the US in July and costs around $650,000 USD per year, excluding travel and hospital expenses, which are inevitable, considering Viktor is from Serbia. The family has been bravely fighting, and the battle is not just with endless bandaging, acquisition of special bandages, creams, clothes, pacifiers, but also with great fear, sadness, feelings of helplessness, as well as enormous daily and monthly expenses. Viktor's condition is alarmingly bad, and his chance for life and growth is the therapy in America, for which they are currently preparing.
With your donation, you will enable Viktor to have a chance to grow up and live without pain and suffering. Please help!
