Support Vin's Recovery from his Stroke

On April 22nd Vin suffered a massive ischemic stroke. He also found out he has a hole in his heart that will require another surgery. His left side is “weak” or “lazy” . He is now in a wheelchair. He can’t walk without help. He can’t work and his insurance is about to run out and he needs help, even though he hates to ask for it. 

Vin continues therapy at a facility now 3 times a week. He is working hard everyday. But this isn’t easy on either one of us. He gets frustrated because his body won’t work the way he is communicating with it. He is “walking“ with assistance and a leg brace and a cane but those first steps were wonderful to see. He has a long road to recovery. 

He was approved for Medicaid so all his medical expenses are now covered.

He has no income since he can't work, all donations will be used for paying for his portion of the living expenses which include rent, utilities, and his cell phone, food and medical bills prior to Medicaid approval, they didn't back date is coverage.

We are living on the edge each month to stay in our rental home. An upheaval will be devastating to Vin and I at this point, normalcy right now is important for his health and well being.
