Please help Volunteer Fire Chief Reed Rankin
Donation protected
Berry Creek Volunteer Fire Chief Reed Rankin lost his home and business equipment in the Bear Fire on Sep. 8th. Reed has been contributing to the Berry Creek community as a volunteer fire fighter, school board member, and local business owner for more than 30 years.
Chief Rankin was fighting the fast-moving Bear Fire and warning local residents to evacuate as his own house burned. Though many people have been affected by the Bear Fire, the Chief has been on the front line whenever Berry Creek needed him - now he needs us. Please give generously, and thank you!
UPDATE: Reed's daughter Kristen Clayton has set up a new bank account for Reed, and the funds will begin to be deposited into that account in just a few days. Thanks again to everyone who has helped - your generosity and empathy have been inspiring!
