Support WA Canoe Sprint Athletes Travel on AUS Teams
Donation protected
On the 12th to 16th of March, a cohort of WA athletes competed at the Paddle Australia National Championships with a record number of 19 selected to go to various international competitions to represent Australia. These include, the Asia Pacific Cup in Komatsu Japan, U/18 and U/23 World Championships in Portugal and the Senior World Cups 1 and 2 in Hungary and Poland.
The costs of travel to these international competitions can be extremely expensive for athletes as they can stay overseas for up to 3 weeks with training camps before competition. We, Oarhouse cafe and Bayswater Paddlesports Club, are organising a fundraiser initiative where all profits will be evenly split amongst to directly support the athletes with their upcoming costs.
All donations are appreciated, if not possible, these athletes can be supported by coming down to the Oarhouse Cafe at 130 Milne St, Bayswater WA 6053, over the easter weekend which will be open and run by the athletes on the australian teams !
A massive thanks for Rob for all his support.
