Support Wade & Allie- medical & life expenses

Donation protected
Help support Wade and his family during the lung transplant process.

Wade is a devoted father to two young children, a loving husband, and a dedicated teacher for students with learning disabilities. He is known for his optimistic spirit, as well as his zest for adventure and lifelong learning. Wade brings these qualities to teaching and inspiring young students about history and his parenting of his own children.

Ten years ago, Wade received a diagnosis that changed the course of his life- a rare and aggressive form of sarcoidosis of the lungs. Despite the immense challenges and setbacks that followed, Wade has faced them with unwavering positivity and determination. Before this diagnosis, he was a world traveler, hiker, and mountain biker. Unfortunately, he has had to leave each of his hobbies behind as his disease has progressed. Currently, Wade’s lung capacity stands at a mere 20% due to irreversible scarring, forcing him to rely on oxygen more frequently and limiting his mobility. With no viable treatment options left, Wade is now awaiting a lung transplant, a process that could take up to six months. Meanwhile, Medical bills continue to mount, financial stress for the future is significant, and all that goes into family and work life has become more precarious. Unfortunately, Wade does not know how much longer he can continue to work and support his family, which adds to the stress of whether he can keep private health insurance to pay for the transplant procedure.

Please consider making a donation to assist in covering Wade’s treatment costs and support his family during this incredibly difficult time. Together, we can ease the financial burden on Wade and his loved ones, allowing them to prioritize recovery and well-being. Your contribution, no matter the amount, can make a meaningful difference on their journey. Should you wish to donate via Zelle, please reach out to Wade, Allie or leave a message here on the site, and we will get you the phone number for a zelle contribution.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
