Update 6/25/24:

It is with the heaviest of hearts and immense sorrow that we share that after the most valiant of fights, Walt has passed and is now at peace. We ask that you respect the family's privacy at this time and continue to pray over all of us and most importantly demand justice for Walt.

Beloved family and friends, as most of you know, Walt Forster, captain and owner of Crab Island Cruises was severely injured on Friday, June 14th.

Please know that at this time we are limiting sharing some information as this is an active investigation and we want to allow the authorities to acquire all the details necessary to bring the investigation to a close. At this time we are able to share that Walt is in ICU and has undergone several procedures and continues to be closely monitored by hospital staff. To be as transparent as possible, we have no idea what the future holds for Walt and we are talking it day by day. Go Fund Me requires a “goal amount” to be set and we genuinely have no idea what the correct amount is, we only know that the future for Walt and his partner Regina will be drastically different from the reality they were living prior to this horrific incident.

As for now we ask that you continue to share Crab Island Cruises socials so that Walt’s business can continue to generate revenue and his vital employees continue to be able to provide for themselves and their families.
