Hello my family, friends, and anyone who may come across this page,

I am reaching out on behalf of Walter Acosta, my bonus dad who has been facing obstacle after obstacle in the past few years.

Walter recently lost my mother, his wife to a courageous battle with cancer, leaving him the sole caregiver for my 7-year-old sister. For 2 years Walter stood beside my mom, early mornings and late nights, and in and out the hospital until her last days.

Walter has now been diagnosed with a severe liver disease that demands an immediate transplant. This diagnosis has not only taken a toll on his health but also on his ability to work, as he's frequently in and out of the hospital for treatments and numerous doctor appointments each week.



Walter and my sister are dealing with the aftermath of losing a loving wife and mother. Within the same year Walter has also lost his mother and his god mother as well. It has been extremely hard after losing the majority of his support system. The emotional and financial burden has been overwhelming, and now with Walter's own health at risk, the situation has become even more critical. Despite facing these circumstances, Walter remains a pillar of strength for our family.
