Support Washington State Healthcare Workers
Donation protected
Our brave healthcare workers are fighting on the front lines every day and facing unimaginable challenges. As you've probably seen in the news, there is a severe shortage of personal protective equipment. In the greater seattle area, there is a network of tireless seamstresses working around the clock to sew masks for our healthcare workers. They have sewn over 2,000 masks for our local hospitals, including Tacoma General Hospital, Overlake Hospital, and Mt Baker Care Center in Bellingham.
The quantity and variety of requests we are receiving continues to increase but we're running very low on materials (cotton or cotton mix fabric, and 4mm/6mm elastic). The funds collected here will be used to buy these materials. If you have the materials and would like to donate them instead, please reach out - we would be incredibly grateful.
A little goes a long way ($15 would buy 50 yards of elastic, which is enough for 166 masks).
Thank you in advance for your support!
