Support Wausau Cyclones' Playoff Dream

Hi, my name is Jessica Nofsinger. Myself and my husband, Todd Nofsinger, are the billet family for 3 hockey players for our local Juniors NA3HL hockey team, the Wausau Cyclones (this fundraiser is not affiliated with Wausau Cyclones organization, it is in direct support of Wausau Cyclone Players as individuals)

Anyone who knows anything about the sport knows it takes a lot of money, time, commitment, and most importantly, heart of the player.

In August 2024, 25 young men arrived at their new billet homes, most complete strangers, to begin their hockey season in hopes of being noticed to move on to play in the NAHL, college, maybe even achieve the ultimate goal of the NHL and hopefully bring Championship Fraser Cup to Wausau!

These young men have spent countless hours practicing, working out, watching film, riding buses to games, and playing games. All while a lot of them still maintained jobs to help support their dreams.

This team has fought hard this season. They are currently 1 point out of first place in Central Division with a record of 31-10-2-1. The young men have 3 games left in their season, ready to head to playoffs while it seems like the road has been crumbled beneath them.

The young men recently found out in order for them as a team to be able to go to playoffs, they are going to need each player to pay a staggering $1,350 per player within 2 weeks.

This is where you all come in. If you have ever had a dream and it seemed so close, so attainable, but the mighty dollar stood in your way, you can help. We all can help. Parents, athletes, friends, community members, businesses. I am asking you to help our Wausau Cyclones get to the playoffs so they can finish what they have set out to do. Let's help put Central Wisconsin's Wausau Cyclones in the playoffs so they can achieve what they started.

Any money donated will go directly to pay for or offset the cost of each player to go to the playoffs.

I know this is not life-shattering, but this is our chance to help these young men pursue their dreams!!!!!!

Any monies raised beyond what is specifically needed to get these young men to playoffs will be donated directly back into the community evenly between 4 local youth hockey organizations. Wausau Youth Hockey, DC Everest Youth Hockey, Mosinee Youth Hockey and Merrill Youth Hockey.

At no point have we made decisions that would be considered self-serving as owners, and this is no exception. The tuition costs for playoffs exist solely to cover the necessary expenses—nothing more. Our main goal is to ensure that the team is properly supported throughout this exciting postseason journey.
