Support Wayne Wiltse with his Recovery
Donation protected
On BC Family Day, Monday February 21, 2022, Wayne Wiltse sustained catastrophic injuries in a motor vehicle accident on his way to work as Director of Lift Maintenance at Whistler Blackcomb. As a result, life going forward will require a wheelchair. We are fundraising to support Wayne and his family in his recovery, including home renovations and the purchase of significant accessibility equipment.
After three months at Vancouver General Hospital, Wayne has moved to G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Center for intensive therapy, and the hope is he can return home to Pemberton this fall. To facilitate his homecoming, home renovations need to begin as soon as possible and specific accessibility equipment, including an electric wheelchair and an accessible vehicle, needs to be acquired.
Anyone who has met Wayne knows how caring, supportive and influential he has been within the ski industry and the local Sea to Sky community. This is our opportunity to lend him and his family the support and help you know he would not hesitate to lend to anyone else.
Wayne, Annette and their sons Logan and Millar are incredibly grateful for all of the love and support they have received so far and want to thank everyone for their well wishes and donations.
Please show your support for the Wiltse family in any way you are able.
