Support Wendy & Amber Get The Essentials

Hello friends and family of Wendy and Amber, my name is Mindy and I had the honor of working with and for these lovely ladies for many years at BNSF. On Tuesday evening tragedy struck as Wendy and Amber lost their home to a fire. Wendy was taken via ambulance to KU Med to be treated for burns and smoke inhalation. Amber was not physically hurt. However, the home and all it’s contents are a total loss, the front wall is all that remains.

Wendy has been released from the hospital and her and Amber will be staying in Lawrence with Linda and Quentin for now.

While Wendy and Amber have insurance and have started that process, it’s a long and frustrating road. If you would like to donate to make their days just a little easier as they start to rebuild and restock, that would be great and so appreciated.
