Support Wendy & Mike Keelers Last Moments

Donation protected

Since July of 2018 Mike Keeler has been battling HPV Throat Cancer, and an infection. When they thought they were out of the clear in May of 2020, it couldn’t be further from the truth. His cancer had returned - and with a vengeance.

Wendy and Mike are some of the most giving people I know. Life has shown them what it is to struggle, buckle down, work hard, and be grateful for the beautiful things in life. They have worked hard, played hard, and have never once failed to put a smile on my face - and many others. It is with pain and tears in my eyes that I write to you and ask for your help.

Mike does not have much time left. He has been unable to work for their family business for 7 months, White Glove Professional Cleaning, because he has been so ill. Wendy has been working 2 jobs to keep up with their finances. Now, with a heavy heart, Wendy needs to recede from the business to spend the last moments with her husband. No donation is too small. Mike, Wendy, and their young boys, Nick (10), and Jake (9), need your help to cover their long list of expenses and be able to spend every moment they can together before it is too late.

Countless times I have asked Mike how he is doing, and even if he cannot manage a full smile the answer is always optimistic. A few examples are: “Hanging in there”, “I’m always alright”, or my favorite, “It’s going to take a lot to kill me!”. His kind-heartedness has touched so many, and I am putting this together to pay it forward. If you understand his struggle, or this family has extended their heart to you in any way, please take the time to give back here.

A list of ways that Wendy and Mike have helped myself and others:

     - Staying up late to give business advice
     - Helping single mothers get on their feet by giving money for necessities
     - Giving services and donations to people that are struggling
     - Offering employment at a good wage
     - Enriching their neighborhood and community
     - Always offering a couch to loved ones
     - The first to ask you over for a meal, especially on Thanksgiving or Christmas
     - Encouragingly offering to vouch for you to a boss, landlord, etc
     - Sending gifts for no reason other than they were thinking about you
     - Helping you get on your feet without judgement.

Donations can also be made to the Cape Cod 5 Keeler Family Fund.

This family will be grateful and feel so blessed for all your help.
