Support Wesley Vasquez's Journey

Jaime, Lauren, Sophia, and Wesley have been through A LOT the last 3.5 months. Wesley has shown us how much of a fighter he is since he got very ill at just 2 weeks old. He has been in the ICU for almost 3 months now and has never given up. He recently had surgery for a tracheostomy and is showing his strength more than ever. For the next few weeks, Mom and Dad are preparing for home care as they hope to be able to return home with Wesley soon.

Wesley has quickly become a favorite of all of the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The care has been tremendous. He's continued to smile through the entire journey and we know he will come out stronger than ever having gone through this.

We know a lot of people out there have been asking how to best help this family we all love so much. Well, as they prepare to come home and begin the next chapter, the financial reality is waiting for them. For anyone that is willing and able to contribute any amount, these funds will go a long way for Lauren, Jaime, Sophia, and Wesley. This will not only be used to cover the medical costs of everything they've gone through since June, but this will help them prepare for the short-term future of caring for Wesley. They'll be making some changes in their home to better accommodate Wesley and also help cover supplies they'll need to care for him. He will require 24/7 care and they want to make his home as comfortable as possible for him and their family.
