Support Wesley's Family & Spread Awareness for Brain Injury

Donation protected
Wesley Tomas Sanchez was a dear friend to some but loved by many. He may not have ever realized it, but he touched many hearts and left a great impact on anyone he met throughout his life. We remember Wesley as a goofy guy who always had a smile on his face and saw the best in every situation. Ever since he was little, he always had a fighter mentality and wanted to be the absolute best at whatever he chose to put his mind to. Wes was such a hard worker and always looked for any opportunity to grow. He made friends along the way who soon became his second family. Wes was the type of person you look for in a room full of quiet people when you need a laugh. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and soon-to-be Godfather, and a loving partner to Samantha. He enjoyed playing baseball and tennis. He also loved fishing in his free time and playing volleyball with his family. Wesley and his dad loved playing golf together, and with whatever Wesley did, his mom and dad were always there by his side, supporting him and cheering him on.

He found a passion for MMA Boxing in his adult life and put his heart and soul into every practice and boxing match. Wesley took his training very seriously for his highly anticipated match that he had coming up on October 20th, 2024. He was putting up a great fight during this match; sadly, he sustained a traumatic brain injury that ended up sending him to the hospital. After putting up a tough battle in the hospital for several days and with the doctors doing everything in their power to help save him, Wesley unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and is resting with God now. Not a lot of people get the chance to meet an angel on Earth like Wesley. He is watching over all of his friends and family, protecting us now as we try to grieve and cope with his passing.

Mr. and Mrs. Sanchez were always a mom and dad to any of Wesley's friends. They've always looked over and cared for anyone that crossed paths with their beloved Wesley. It is very clear to all of Wesley's friends where he got his loving, compassionate, and tremendous heart from. We are trying to help raise money to alleviate some of the financial stress of this tragedy. Some of the proceeds will help fund a charity started by Wesley's neurosurgeon to help bring awareness to brain injuries. All of Wesley's loved ones would greatly appreciate any support you can give, even if it is just by sharing this post and his story. Wesley's memory will forever be held close to our hearts.
We miss you, Wesley. Rest in paradise.
