Support West Families During Global Pandemic

Want to join me in making a difference? The West Education Campus Parent, Staff & Community Organization is raising money to support school families for whom the global pandemic is causing food insecurity. As a Title 1 School, the majority of our scholars receive breakfast, lunch and even dinner at school. While the District of Columbia is providing meal support, we know this is not enough as the pandemic continues in its 10th month and many families are feeling the economic impacts of job loss or reductions in work shifts. 

The funds raised will be used to purchase grocery store gift cards to be distributed by the school administration to those families in need. Our Spring 2020 fundraiser for this same purpose supported over 75 families.
