Our incredible Westward Orchards team from Jamaica — Dunkley, Leslie, Garvin, Phillips, Jamaul, Marshall, Valentine (better known as Super), and Decosta — are truly the heart of our farm. Their hard work, dedication, and spirit are what make every season possible. Simply put, Westward Orchards wouldn’t be what it is without them.

Today, their home country of Jamaica is facing heartbreaking devastation in the wake of Hurricane Melissa. Many of our team members and their families are enduring unimaginable challenges:

• Homes and personal belongings have been severely damaged.

• The crops they depend on for income have been destroyed.

• In many communities, electricity is out and clean water is scarce.

These are the same men who show up for us every season — bringing skill, strength, and kindness to everything they do. Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.

We’re asking our incredible community to come together to help provide financial support as they rebuild their homes and their lives. Every dollar raised will be split evenly among Dunkley, Leslie, Garvin, Phillips, Jamaul, Marshall, Super, and Decosta, helping them replace essentials, support their families, and begin to recover what was lost.

With your help, it is our hope we can offer them the support they need to look forward to brighter days ahead.
