Honoring Andrew & Supporting Whitney After Tragic Loss

Donation protected
On February 6th, 2025, Andrew Gonzalez tragically lost his life while on Bering Air Flight 445, that crashed into the Northen Sound while traveling from Unalakleet to Nome, Alaska. As the plane approached Nome, it disappeared from radar. The aircraft was unable to be located for over 12 hours. During this time, his wife Whitney, family, and friends waited and prayed. The aircraft wreckage was found on February 7th, 2025, and discovered to be unsurvivable. Andrew, along with the other 9 individuals abroad, Bering Air Flight 445 lost their lives.

Andrew dedicated his life to his wife, family, friends, and career. He was a man of unmatched kindness and warmth, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. His presence alone drew people in. He was a man of selflessness and would drop anything at any moment for someone in need. He was a man of strength, courage, compassion, humility, and humor. He took immense pride in working as a power generation technician, ensuring that remote Alaskan communities had reliable power.

Andrew was his wife Whitney's best friend, love, and person for the past 12 years. The two met in high school in Santa Rosa, CA, and have never left each other's side. They moved to Wasilla, Alaska, in 2022, where they bought their first home and had an intimate wedding at Reflections Lake.

As the primary provider for his family, Andrew's passing has placed an immense emotional and financial burden on his wife, Whitney. He has left behind three rescue dogs (Bonnie, Ranger, and Raven) whom he cherished as his children. Your contributions will help ease the financial strain Whitney is and will be experiencing due to the sudden and tragic loss of her husband, Andrew.

Andrew's Family sincerely thanks everyone who has reached out with support, prayers, thoughts, and messages. We are profoundly grateful for the love and kindness shown to us during this difficult time. Your comforting words and compassion mean more to us than words can express. We send our love and prayers to the families and loved ones of the nine souls who passed on alongside Andrew, as well as to the employees and family of Bering Air.

Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful impact. If you're unable to give financially, simply sharing this campaign can make a tremendous difference. Thank you for supporting Whitney as she navigates this heartbreaking time. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated.
