Help Los Angeles Recover and Stay Safe from Wildfires
Tax deductible
Hi, I am Kirantej Kunapareddy, a junior at Tompkins Junior High, Katy, TX. I am raising money for the Los Angeles Emergency Preparedness Foundation to support ongoing wildfire relief efforts.
The Los Angeles Emergency Preparedness Foundation is dedicated to enhancing community resilience and safety by proactively addressing wildfire risks. Their mission is to empower individuals and communities with the tools and knowledge needed to protect their homes and neighborhoods.
What They Do:
Home Ignition Zone Assessments
The foundation assists homeowners in identifying potential fire risks around their properties. They provide confidential reports with clear, actionable steps to help mitigate these risks and safeguard homes from wildfires.
Community Brigade Pilot Program
This innovative program, approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and LACoFD, supports seven communities in the Santa Monica Mountains. Volunteers in the program play a crucial role by assisting with evacuations, conducting structural triage, and helping with mop-up operations after the fire front passes.
Donations to the Los Angeles Emergency Preparedness Foundation directly support their efforts to reduce wildfire risks and create safer, more prepared communities. Contributions make a meaningful difference in protecting lives and property.
Please consider donating today to help them continue this vital work.
