Hi, I’m Ally Wheeler DeMasi and I’m reaching out to support my very dear and longtime friend, Will Lux, who is fighting alongside his brave little girl’s diagnosis.

We’re raising money so Will can focus all of his energy on his daughter instead of mounting financial burdens. Please take a minute to read Will’s story:

Hello, my name is Will, and I’m reaching out for support during an incredibly difficult time. Last month, my world was turned upside down when my four year old daughter was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. She’s endured many doctor’s visits, MRIs and surgery to remove the tumor. But we aren’t out of the woods yet; she is scheduled for another brain surgery this week before she can start preventive treatment.

As a parent, being with her is my top priority, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else and I am extremely grateful for her amazing care teams at Boston Children’s Hospital and at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Unfortunately, this time away from work has left me struggling to cover basic living expenses and the mounting costs of daily life. This has led me to the point of asking for help.

I’m asking for any help you can provide during this very overwhelming and scary time. The funds raised will go toward:

-Covering my lost wages while I am unable to work.

-Helping with daily living costs as I navigate through this.

-Allowing me to attend future appointments with my daughter.

-Helping me get back on my feet to financially support myself and my children.
