Support Will's Medical Expenses

Hello! I'm clover- I'm making this gofundme on Will's behalf. This year is a year of change, and Will has two upcoming surgeries that will greatly improve their quality of life. We want to be clear that will is OK and this is not an emergency. Please feel free to ask me about the details in person, but for here Will would like to keep the details private. Please only donate if you have extra!

You may know Will from Peach, or perhaps from school or years of dedicated friendship. Will is the kindest, gentlest, best person I know. I am so excited for them to have these surgeries over with so that they can move forward and enjoy life to its fullest. I write with a lot of bias about the love of my life, but if you have the honor to know will you probably love them too.

Between changes of work/insurance, taking time off work to recover, taking time off work to take care of will, after care costs and estimated out of pocket costs, we are likely looking upwards of $10,000 between the two surgeries. Hopefully of course insurance will be nice to us, but we can't count on it. Wills first recovery will mean I am taking a full week off work, and then relying on our sweet friends to help out where needed.

Anyways a word from Will:

"Hi friends. This year I have two surgeries planned. I'm really excited about it, but the timing isn't ideal. I'll be switching health insurance plans after the first surgery, meaning I will need to pay the out of pocket maximum twice.

The first insurance's out of pocket maximum is $3800. I'm not sure what the next insurance's out of pocket maximum will be yet.

If you are interested and able to comfortably help with funding this, I would be deeply appreciative."

The first surgery is early February.
