Hope after Helene, Haven on the Hill

Hello!

We are raising funds for a community of survivors of Hurricane Helene. We are located at 1245 Orion Davis Road, Waynesville, NC 28786 in a field offered by Linda Best for donated RVs. We have made lots of improvements with all the donations we have received. We have gotten loads of gravel to help with mud. We got winterized to help with the colder weather. We are now to the point of living expenses for our large family. Now is the time to start these folks on rebuilding the lives they had before the 1,000 yr storm.

They are still in need of gasoline for generators, propane for heat and cooking, and a few still need vehicles so they can return to work or school. There is still a need for RVs to replace some older ones that have repair issues. Haven on the Hill is now an LLC and works in conjunction with a local 501 (c) 3 for taxable donations.

Please help us to help these folks with a “hand up not a hand out” as we continue to function purely on donations while we continue to wait to see if we get any government help.
