Support Woodland and Baby's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
As many of you heard, there was a tragic accident on Hwy 42 on 3/2/25. Woodland and her family were on their way to the Wildlife Safari to celebrate their son’s birthday when the accident happened.
Woodland hit her head, became unconscious, and had to be life-flighted to River Bend. She was 25 weeks pregnant at the time of the accident. Due to her broken pelvis, the baby had to be delivered via emergency C-section. Her baby was born at just one pound. He and his mom will have a long road ahead and will need the community's support to ensure they do not have to suffer any more than they already are.
Her other two sons and her husband, Cory, are thankfully okay with minor injuries.
