Support Wyatt McCoy's Recovery Journey

Greetings,

This is Brent Lundell, Maddox Lundell's old man. We are looking for some community, private, and corporate support for Wyatt McCoy (Deciding Point Tennis). Wyatt suffered a non-life-threatening accident on October 5th. Wyatt was riding an electric scooter and was found unconscious on the 10th Street bridge. He underwent surgery to repair his jaw and is currently recovering for the next 2-3 weeks. He will have some medical bills and loss of income for the next 3 weeks or so.

As many of you know, Wyatt and his family have been pillars of the tennis community for decades, tennis coaching professionals (TCP) are typically paid per hour on the court. TCP's work with Juniors and many adults as well. They provide high-level coaching and drills for Juniors, often preparing them for college and beyond.

What is unknown with the public, is how many hours these TCP's, put in with these students off the court. These professionals are usually contacting college coaches, road-trips and tournament stays, and engaging with Parents about the progress of their player.

Tennis, by its very nature, is a selfish individual sport. We are simply asking you to help support an individual who has been a staple in your son's or daughter's life playing tennis.

Another challenge for Wyatt, is going to be playing tennis without being able to verbally engage with the other side until his jaw heels. Wyatt also appreciates any Kid's meals from Fast Food restaurants.
